Have you heard? .DUNGEON, the dead MMO roleplaying game is back with a new style. Fully redone layout by yours truly, fully illustrated by Charlotte, past collaborator and creator of Daisy Chainsaw, and in a new, spiral bound form. There’s also some additional text shoved in there, a new oracle for solo/GM-less play, and a new quest generator for solo/GM-less play.
The reason for the new form is to have a book that’s easy to use at the table and also cheaper for people to get into. No more $50 book. Now it’s just $25, which feels really good to be able to offer. I feel like my first RPG book was more expensive than that when I first started playing these games around the table with friends, so to be able to offer this book for cheaper makes me feel like we’re becoming more and more accessible.
The new layout is made to be easily referenced, with a chapter selection bar at the edge of every page. It’s all hyperlinked in the PDF, making navigation a breeze.
We’ll be running a short campaign, launching on Friday and going until the end of the month. I want to tease more as the campaign goes, including the new oracle system and the other solo/GM-less things, but until then, let me just tell you about the kickstarter exclusive book that you can get.
It’s called the Questing Booklet right now until a better name can be given, but it includes four new regions to explore with their own job boards, quests, and boss monsters. Each one will be set up for Solo/GM-Less play, and feature new bits of gear as part of its .fashion initiative—full sets of armor with special abilities. We’re bringing fashion souls to .dungeon <3

Go follow the page to be notified when it launches. We’re here for the long haul with this version of .dungeon. A beautiful book, cheap for the consumer, and easy for us to make supplements for. We want to be on store shelves for longer than what is typical for my books, which is at most a year before a huge print run runs out, and less for short print runs.
I hope to see you on launch day~

For the Questing Booklet maybe something like LAN Party? Since its for solo/gm-less play? Just throwing ideas out, I'm so excited for this
